I upgraded from a Pearl - the 9700 is so much better on every aspect: screen brightness, resolution, battery, functionality, readability, speed, overall fit and finish, ease of use, audio quality and apps. And… it is so great not to have that trackball anymore. The optical trackpad on the 9700 has a great feel and takes no time to get used to.
